Feels like I haven't posted in forever cause I haven't. Took last week off this week has not been the best for training. Today was my second day deadlifting this week. Monday I did doubles with 315. Tonight I worked up to my planned open of 355lbs. 1st video is my last set of deadlifts doing deficits with 225 got 8 reps 6 that I'm happy with. Swipe right➑️ and... 2nd video is 315x1 I dropped down to 315 after my shitty 355 deadlift to have at least one solid single attempt. Swipe right again➑️ 3rd video is my one heavy single at 355 which a few weeks ago was moving just fine. This week however my form was sloppy the weight moved slower and it is all around garbage. Long boring caption time for those that maybe read this stuff. So for the last 3 weeks heavy deadlifts haven't gone my way at all anything over 350 I either haven't hit or it's been sloppy. I took a week off two weeks ago and still don't feel πŸ’―. Tonight was my last planned deadlift/lifting day. I'm a week out from my meet and starting to lose some confidence. I plan on doing a full rest deload week with a deep tissue massage to hopefully help get my better ready so I can pr at the meet. I don't know if it's just being over worked and tired not planning programming right or what is going on. Soo for anyone that competes or trains hard and has hit this kinda plateau before a meet or just in training what did you do that worked to get you back on track. Right now it's mentally killing me when I want my training to go good and it's going bad. Advice, words of wisdom whatever you got is helpful. Powerlifting prep party at @sobekfitness Had a fantastic time lifting with my #squad or #fitfam of @hannah_easly and @nstokes_77 today. I've wanted to put this picture because yesterday I've seen a YouTube video of a girl saying "how I edit my Instagram picture", it interested me so I click on it... And girl... It's is not what I would called "editing" but more "Photoshopping" πŸ˜‚ Apparently it's a commun app use by many many "insta famous" (reducing the waist, more booty, soften skin, longer hair, ... It is not just modify the background and the lighting as I expected πŸ˜‚) I don't judge people doing it through ! Everybody do their own business ! (Although I don't understand the point of doing that cause ... What about if you see a followers in real life ? πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚) Just be aware and don't be fooled by this and trying to reach a certain physic which isn't real ! πŸ˜‰πŸ’ž . . Instagram focus nowadays seems to be on body acceptance. Although I'm completely agree with that, don't forget that we are soul with body not body with soul ! ☺️ A beautiful body doesn't define who you are ! But a beautiful soul do ! Pb of 110kg bench today and my fail at 240kgs on my dead... 8/9 lifts aren't too bad but o would've been a lot happier with all 9. Didn't get any footage of my squats but I hit 175kg which was also a pb. Hit a 515kg total and had a rad day πŸ€™πŸΌ #squat #bench #dead
Things are feeling really good. I mostly attribute this to a change in my diet. At the start I lost almost 10lbs, but once I figured what to eat and what to avoid my weight has made its way back up, and I’m feeling very good in almost every training session. I’ve got the energy and stamina to make it for a full workout without gassing myself out. Today I put it to the test for sure. 12 hour work day and a training session which I consider one of the hardest I do weekly.
